So, this song came on and my friend, Sammy, was there with me. Here's how the dialogue went. Might not be the exact words but close.

Her: "Why do you like songs with weird lyrics?"
Me: "I don't know, they're interesting. They make you wonder what they're actually trying to say."
Her: "Okay, what do you think this song's about?"
Me: "You go, first."
Her: "(Plays the song again) Well, I think he's basically talking about how people don't get what they want. And like, he likes this girl, but he can't actually get her to like him back. So he's kinda sad that he's having all these feelings for her and they're all waste everyday, so then, he's talking about people wasting their time on things that they can't get."
Me: "That's so sad."
Her: "Yeah. Okay, your turn."
Me: "I guess kinda same with yours cuz I haven't really thought about it until now."
Her: "Wthck (-.- face)"
Me: "Yeah, except, I would say he's not sad that he's wasting time. He's happy."
Her: "How?"
Me: "I don't know. It just sounds like it. And I don't think he's sad that he's wasting time on the chick. It's kinda cute. I like this song."
